What is the standard lead time for engine delivery?
Most in-stock crate engines ship within 2-3 business days. For custom builds or backordered units, lead times typically range from 4 to 8 weeks depending on component availability.
Do BluePrint engines come with a warranty?
Yes, we offer an industry-leading 30-month / 50,000-mile warranty on our crate engines, providing peace of mind for your street or performance vehicle.
How are the engines shipped to my location?
Engines are securely bolted to heavy-duty pallets, wrapped, and shipped via LTL freight. We recommend shipping to a commercial address with a forklift or loading dock to avoid additional residential delivery fees.
Are your engines dyno tested before shipping?
Every BluePrint crate engine is dyno tested. We include a copy of the dyno sheet with your engine so you can see the exact horsepower and torque numbers your specific build produced.
What type of oil should I use for the break-in period?
We strictly recommend using a high-zinc break-in oil for the first 500 miles to ensure proper ring seating and camshaft protection. Detailed oil specifications are included in your installation guide.
What is your return policy for performance parts?
Unused and uninstalled items can be returned within 30 days of purchase. Please note that engines that have been installed or modified are not eligible for return under our standard policy.
